Terms and Conditions of Use
Welcome to the Quinta do Serrado website. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website (www.quintadoserrado.pt) and the Local Accommodation (AL) services provided by the company Madeira Total, Unipessoal Lda (NIF: 513857087), headquartered at Caminho do Serrado, Nº .S 12/14, 9300-010 Câmara de Lobos, Madeira, Portugal.
By accessing this site and making a reservation, the user agrees to the following terms:
1. Reservations and Payments
Reservations made through our website or direct contacts are subject to the availability of our apartments and studios.
To confirm the reservation, the payment of a deposit or the total value of the stay may be required, depending on the selected rate. Payment instructions will be provided at the time of booking.
The prices shown include VAT at the current legal rate.
2. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in: From 14:00 AM. We ask that you inform us of your estimated time of arrival in advance.
Check-out: Until 12:00 AM. Late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
At the time of check-in, the presentation of a valid identification document (ID Card or Passport) of all guests is mandatory, as required by Portuguese law.
3. Cancellation Policies
Cancellation policies vary depending on the rate and the time of year chosen at the time of booking.
In case of a no-show or early departure, there will be no refund of the stay’s value.
4. Property Rules and Conduct
Quinta do Serrado is a space of history and tranquility. We ask our guests to respect the following rules:
Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartments, studios, and enclosed common areas.
Noise: We request respect for the rest of other guests and neighbors, limiting noise between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Events and Parties: Parties or events not previously authorized by management are not allowed.
Pool and Common Areas: The use of the pool and outdoor areas must be done with caution. Children must always be supervised by adults.
Pets: Not allowed.
5. Liability
Management is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal property left in the apartments or common areas of the Quinta.
Any damage caused to the facilities or equipment of Quinta do Serrado, resulting from misuse, will be charged to the responsible guest.
